This policy outlines our garden-friendly return and exchange process.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items in our collection, including:

  • Fruit trees (apple, cherry, citrus, fig)
  • Flowering shrubs and bushes (blueberry, blackberry)
  • Ornamental trees (dogwood, cherry blossom, crabapple)
  • Evergreen plants (arborvitae, privacy screens)

Non-Returnable Items

To protect our living products and comply with agricultural regulations, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Plants that have been planted or removed from their original containers
  • Custom or special order items (including certain rare citrus tree varieties)
  • Plants showing signs of improper care after delivery

Return & Exchange Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Request

  • Photos of the plant(s) in question
  • Reason for return/exchange

Step 2: Receive Authorization

Our team will respond within 2 business days with:

  • Return authorization (if approved)
  • Shipping instructions for live plant returns
  • Any special packaging requirements

Step 3: Ship Your Return

For approved returns:

  • Repackage plants securely in their original containers when possible
  • Include all original tags and documentation
  • Ship to our nursery address within 5 days of authorization

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refund Timing: 3-5 business days after inspection
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Free Shipping Orders: $12.95 will be deducted from your refund (equivalent to our standard shipping cost)

Exchange Process

For exchanges of equal value:

  • We’ll ship your new plants once we receive the return
  • No additional shipping charges for standard exchanges
  • For upgrades, you’ll be invoiced for the price difference

Plant Health Guarantee

If your plant arrives damaged or fails to thrive within the first 30 days, please contact us immediately with photos. We may offer replacements without requiring return of the original plant, depending on the circumstances.

International Returns

For customers outside the United States:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • Returns must include all original phytosanitary certificates
  • Please allow additional processing time for international inspections
